ONSKE

I took this photo back in 1999 in East New York, Brooklyn.
And if I remember correctly it was Richmond St. between
Fulton & Atlantic. It was the block with the factory that was
mostly known for the smell of rotten onions and expired milk.
It was the block where stray dogs roamed freely and it was the
block to dump stripped and/or burned vehicles.
How should I explain Onske? (I dont know Onske
personally but) he was a local street legend with
amazing 90’style tags, throwees and pieces.
I’m glad I took this photo. Shout out to Millie.
